“First Battle” “Uijin” (初陣)

Kuuya talks again with Hakuoro. Later she reveals her plans of war with the other countries. Thus Hakuoro is left with the decision to help her or not. Hakuoro tries to dissuade her, but to no avail.

That’s Just What Mokkori Keita Wants!

After being unhappy being unranked Kaoru tells his Inukamis that Keita must choose new ranks for them. Kaoru’s Inukamis thus set out to try and win Keita’s affection doing anything they can to be ranked higher than the other. This is all hindered however by a magical pot that Keita tries to use to rank them if he gets what he wants. Karou’s Inukami’s then end up wanting to fight one another but are told by Sendan, and Nadeshiko that they should work together and abandon the order, the pot is later sent floating down the river.

“A Thief’s Identity” “Tōzoku no Shōtai” (盗賊の正体)

Worried that the princess may be blamed for Fouquet’s theft, Louise volunteers in front of the school administrators to go and catch her. Kirche and Tabitha volunteer as well. They travel to the place of Fouquet’s last sighting escorted by Longueville. Kirche, Tabitha, and Saito enter an empty, dusty house where Tabitha discovers the hiding place of the Staff of Destruction. Fouquet’s golem appears outside. Wanting to show her worth, Louise tries to fight the golem with some spells but fails. As she is about to be crushed, Saito rushes in to save her. Her confidence broken, Louise breaks into tears. Saito is moved by this and attacks the golem in her name as Sylphid rescues the nobles. He uses Kirche’s sword but when it breaks on contact with the golem Derflinger calls on Saito to use him. Saito draws Derflinger and the runes on his hands glow again. He is able to destroy the golem’s legs, but they reform shortly afterwards resulting in a stalemate. Louise tries to help by taking out the Staff of Destruction, which Saito recognizes as a M72 rocket launcher, and with his rune-enabled abilities, he fires it at the golem which is destroyed. In the aftermath Longueville claims the staff and reveals herself to have been Fouquet all along; she engineered the scenario to discover how to use the staff. She tries to kill the students who have found out her secret with the Staff but nothing happens, as it is a one-use item. Saito knocks Fouquet down and she surrenders. Later, Osmond reveals that 30 years previously, he was fighting a monster when a man (a soldier from Earth) used one of two “staves” to save his life. After the man died, Osmond buried the man and kept the other staff. The school holds a ball to celebrate the three heroines; Louise asks Saito to dance and thanks him for saving her.

“The Parting” “Ketsubetsu” (決別)

Derihouri, with the aide of Hakuoro and his party and a secret from Karura’s past, infiltrate the capital of Nan-tunk, only to discover that the Kenam rebellion was formed with ulterior motives.

“Tristein’s Princess” “Torisutein no Himegimi” (トリステインの姫君)

The exhibition of new familiars is a day away, and Louise is feeling rather depressed about it. Not only does Saito have nothing impressive to show (he says he’s good at washing panties), but this year the Princess of Tristain will be present, which makes the event more important. As night approaches, desperation sets in as Saito is unable to produce an act worthy of praise. A late night visitor to Louise’s room turns out to be Princess Henrietta herself, and she explains how she and Louise are childhood friends. The next day, Saito performs a weak sword swinging demonstration only to be dragged off-stage by Louise. They witness Fouquet attempting to break into the school’s treasure vault using an earth golem. Louise tries to stop her with her magic, but her blast misses the golem and hits the tower wall, breacing the magic barrier to the vault. Tabitha and her dragon familiar, Sylphid, fly in to help but are too late to prevent Fouquet from stealing the fabled Staff of Destruction and making her escape.

“Liberation Army” “Kaihōgun” (解放軍)

Karura’s younger brother Derihouri is leading a revolt in a neighboring country though his small army is no match for the force he is trying to oppose. It will take the aid of Hakuoro, Karura and the several others to overcome the emperor.

What Are These Things!

Both Kaoru and Karina are sucked into Sekidōsai’s painting, and it is up to Keita, Yōko, and Nadeshiko to save them.

“A Maid’s Crisis” “Meido no Kiki” (メイドの危機)

Osmond, the headmaster, continues his harassment of his secretary Longueville. Siesta is taken into the household of Count Mott, presumably to be mistress. Disgusted by the lack of regard that nobles have for commoners, Saito tries his best to rescue her. They make a deal where Count Mott asks for a particular family heirloom book from a Germanian family - coincidntally it is Kirche’s family. Saito asks Kirche for the book, but Kirche wants him to date her. After refusing her demand, Saito attempts to take on the noble with Kirche’s shiny sword, but he his runes do not activate. Louise and the others arrive just in time to prevent Saito from being killed by Count Mott. Kirche agrees to give Count Mott the book in exchange for Siesta’s freedom and forgiving Saito his offense. Saito catches a glimpse of the family treasure and is surprised to find that it is a rather old (April 1975) porn magazine from Japan. After they return to the academy, Siesta kisses Saito on the cheek in thanks for his efforts.

“The Young Emperor” “Osanaki Ō / Osanaki Ōruo” (幼き皇)

Kuuya and Hakuoro have a long talk alone about the world they live in and the state of affairs. Later, Oboro is suffering from a hangover and must take Erurū revolting medicine in order for it to pass quicker. Also, the trader from before comes back to sell them a Mikyūm which is a rare and extremely valuable animal. Finally, Hakuoro has yet another private discussion with Kuuya where he discovers that the masked emperor is in fact a young girl.

Room, Ghost Story, and Me!

Kaoru invites his Inukami to his summer villa including Keita and Yōko. Things start all well and playful until Igusa tells a scary story to Keita, Yōko, and the other Inukamis, the story is about a vengeful dummy coming to life that kills. Horrified, Tayune lets out a scream and is called a coward for being so scared by some of the other Inukami, in response Tayune insults Yōko, Imari, Sayoka, Furano, Igusa, and Tensō and later they fight her. Tayune storms off to prove she is no coward after the fight, and after they all lose against Tayune the six who lost team up and plot revenge against Tayune the rest of the Inukami want no part of it. The revenge plan the six come up with is to scare Tayune with a model dummy that looks like the one from the story and take a picture of her running and crying from it. When Tayune gets close however and just when they are about to take the pictures and scare her, the dummy gets possessed by a spirit and chases after Tayune. Tayune running and scared is later saved by someone who she thinks is Karou. It is actually Keita that saves Tayune in the end and tells her that although a coward rather than being a bother to him, Karou loves her no matter what and tells her to show her true self.

“Feverish Temptation” “Binetsu no Yūwaku” (微熱の誘惑)

After being sleep for three days in bed he find out Louise has been taking care of him. But she will not admit it. Saito finds out he is the champion of the servant. He manages to put his foot in his mouth not once but twice and doesn’t get to eat for one or two days. Kirche makes a play for Saito in her room because he won the battle. Louise catches him and drags him back to her room and beats him.

“The End of the Bloodshed” “Tatakai no Hate” (戦いの果て)

Hakuoro is still haunted by what Niwe said to him and has nightmares about it. Later a duel between Benawi and Oboro takes places to see how strong each is. Near the end of the episode, Hakuoro is introduced to another emperor named Kuuya.

Returning a Favor to an Aroused Keita!

A tanuki wants to repay Keita for saving its life, but it does so by giving him a magic medicine that will make anyone he looks at fall in love with him. An excited Yōko grasps for the medicine thinking if she takes one Keita will fall for her but after Keita takes one, Yōko makes him look at her. The medicine works soon after and Yōko is soon acting like Keita’s wife to be. When Yōko mentions having children to Keita however after thinking it over he is horrified at the thought of having puppies as kids and runs from her. Keita then searches for human girls to use the medicine on. This does not turn out well when Keita ends up attracting old ladies, macho guys, and four of Karou’s Inukamis. The medicine does wear off after a while and an angry Yōko comes looking for Keita. When Yōko catches Keita, however, he takes all the medicine at once and after Yōko leaves him to his fate, ends up attracting much more than he could take. In the end Tomekichi and the tanuki drag Keita to Yōko, and Yōko playfully blasts Keita one for admitting he was wrong and that his strength and good looks were enough to impress the ladies. Tomekichi then tells the tanuki that perhaps the medicine was not needed after all between Keita and Yōko.

“Commoner Familiar” “Heimin no Tsukaima” (平民の使い魔)

Saito being sucked from Japan and into another world. When the summoning was comple he had a set of rune on the back of his hand. When he had to do battle with two-timing Guiche Valkyrie the rune glows and it let him use any weapon. He beats the Valkyrie and Guiche.

“End of the Banquet” “Utage no Owari” (宴の終わり)

A final decisive battle between Hakuoro and Niwe begins in Shikeripetim’s capital.

“Louise the Zero” “Zero no Ruizu” (ゼロのルイズ)

Despite being from a famous magic family, Louise has never been able to successfully cast a single spell. On the day of her familiar summoning exam, she bungles the summoning and accidentally summons a human from Earth. The poor victim of her mistake is Saito Hiraga, a typical high school boy with no idea whats going on.

Yōko reveals her true nature and has to deal with her father, Dai Yōko.

“Destruction” “Senka” (戦禍)

More helpless villages in Tusukuru are attacked by Niwe, the emperor of Shikeripetim, as he advances through the countryside. Hakuoro hatches a desperate plan in order to defend his nation.

I Am Your Song!

Keita and Yōko continue their fight against the shinigami Sea of Violence.
