Dai Yōko and Sekidōsai have a fight, resulting in Dai Yōko’s defeat. After a confrontation with Kaoru, Keita is caught in a spell meant for Yōko and reverted to a baby.

“A Princess’ Request” “Himegimi no Irai” (姫君の依頼)
Having taken care of the love potion, Louise and Saito receive a new mission. In order to strengthen her country’s alliance, Princess Henrietta is to be wed to the Emperor of Germania. Louise and Saito must recover an indiscreet letter that Henrietta wrote to Prince Wales of Albion or the wedding with Germania will be cancelled. The princess is unable to see the prince in person because Albion is in a state of civil war. Guiche overhears the conversation and volunteers to aid the princess and Henrietta accepts, much to Louise and Saito’s ire. Before leaving, Saito learns about Gandálfr and legendary Void magic from Colbert, as well as a story of two dragons. On the day of departure, their escort, Wardes, captain of the griffin squadron, arrives. It turns out he is also Louise’s fiancé and Saito grows jealous of him as they journey to the port city of La Rochelle. Later, Derflinger talks to Saito about Gandálfr, and how only Gandálfr can use Derflinger. Wardes proposes to Louise then, at dinner, asks Saito to spar with him. Wardes wins easily and mocks Saito’s promise to protect Louise leaving Saito feeling down.
“Where the Heart Lies” “Kokoro no arika” (心の在り処)
The first heavy defeat in battle with Kuuya in the previous episode slows down the war. In the next, relatively calm, days Hakuoro remembers some of his past. Who really is the Iceman? Why does this “Mikoto” in his memories resemble Erurū so much? Genjimaru leaves Kunnekamun since he knows they are on a path to annihilation. He joins Hakuoro offering his guide for the armies. Genjimaru seems to be betraying Kuuya, but he acts this way since he wants to save her from the war. Understanding that, Hakuoro accepts his help. The first step is unite all the rebels left by Kunnekamun’s passage. In order to do that, Hakuoro arranges a mission to rescue the Oruyankuru. The old man is saved, but then he declares that Urutorii is the new Oruyankuru and retires.

“Louise’s Change of Heart” “Ruizu no Henshin” (ルイズの変心)
Louise continues her lovey-dovey behavior towards Saito, which freaks him out, as well as causing misunderstandings with Siesta. In desperation, Saito demands that Montmorency create an antidote, but she refuses to help, until he blackmails her into helping (Saito learned from Siesta that love potions are illegal). As the antidote requires “the tear of a water elemental”, Montmorency and Guiche lead Saito and the love-struck Louise to Lagdorian Lake where they make contact with the Water Spirit. She is flooding the land so that she can search for her stolen precious treasure but she is being hindered by magic users. Saito volunteers to deal with them and he and Guiche fight the intruders who turn out to be Kirche and Tabitha. Saito promises to find whatever the Water Spirit has lost. The spirit trusts his word as “Gandálfr”, and gives him the antidote.
“The Accursed Contract” “Imawashiki keiyaku” (忌まわしき契約)
As the forces of Emperor Kuuya descend upon Tusukuru’s capital, Hakuoro realizes that the evacuation is going to take longer than they have, and so decides to sacrifice himself to draw their attention away. However, Aruruu isn’t prepared to let this happen, and shows up riding Mukkuru. The immortal Mutikapa is able to attack the Avu-Kamuu without being hurt, but Aruruu is hit with a single blow and died. However, the pool of blood growing behind Aruruu begins to bring back Hakuoro’s memories, and new questions start arising in his mind: What is he? What unknown powers does he harbor?
Hang On, Tomohane!
Dai Yōko’s seal is breaking and all the Kawahira’s and Inukami must come together. However, no one can find Keita and Yōko, so Tomohane is sent out to look for them.
“Tabitha’s Secret” “Tabasa no Himitsu” (タバサの秘密)
It’s summer vacation, and many students are traveling back to their families. Kirche goes along with Tabitha to her home. As a result, Louise and Saito are alone for once; however, mischief is still plentiful. Kirche learns that Tabitha’s real name is Charlotte, that she is the Princess of Gallia, and that she has a rather tragic past. Her reason for returning home is revealed to be a mission from her uncle, the King of Gallia. Meanwhile, Montmorency is upset that Guiche has been flirting with other girls, and makes a love potion to try to slip into Guiche’s drink. Saito obtains a large pot that was about to be thrown away and, at night, fashions it into a hot tub, similar to those in Japan. While Saito relaxes in the tub, Siesta passes by and joins him, much to his embarrassment. Louise sees the two together and becomes so frustrated that she interrupts Guiche and Montmorency, and chugs the drink with the love potion in it. When Saito returns to her room, Louise gets flustered and falls completely in love with him.
“The Great Seal” “Daifūin / On Rīyāku” (大封印)
Kuuya, convinced by her bloodthirsty advisers, starts a war against every nation in order to unite the whole continent. Soon the war reaches Hakuoro’s empire. The avu-kamuu of Kuuya seem unstoppable, and Hakuoro decides to evacuate the capital.
Emotions to White Cloth!
Furano and Tensō think Gokyōya has a crush on Keita after seeing a photo that looks like him in her hand while she was sleeping. After seeing this they go ask Keita to date her, something that Yōko dislikes to hear. It is later revealed that the photo is of Keita’s father and that Gokyōya was kicked out of the Kawahira household by Keita’s father’s jealous wife. Keita later says sorry to Gokyōya for his father’s actions as his son. Elsewhere Boss receives some panty/bra stealing advice from his teacher and both go after the Inukami’s panties and bras much to their dismay and anger.
“Louise’s Part-Time Job” “Ruizu no Arubaito” (ルイズのアルバイト)
Henrietta congratulates Louise for capturing Fouquet; she offers her hand to Saito, but misunderstanding Louise’s prompting, he kisses her on the lips! Henrietta asks Louise and Saito to work undercover in town to determine if nobles are taking advantage of the commoners. Louise loses all of their money in a casino where she was hoping to increase their funds so as to be able to afford an expensive hotel room. Refusing to ask for more money, Saito and Louise find work at a tavern called Charming Fairy Inn run by Scarron and his daughter, Jessica. Louise takes a position as a waitress and Saito works as a scullion washing dishes where he is in close contact with Jessica much to Louise’s displeasure. Scarron holds a contest for the waitresses: whoever gets the most tips gets a large reward plus the chance to wear a special maid outfit. Louise is unable to earn any waitress tips because of her temper, but her moment of salvation comes when an arrogant noble enters the bar. After bringing him to justice, the noble runs off, but leaves a large amount of money; the “tip” enables Louise to win the contest. Even though she and Saito now have to leave she wears the special maid outfit just for him.
“First Battle” “Uijin” (初陣)
Kuuya talks again with Hakuoro. Later she reveals her plans of war with the other countries. Thus Hakuoro is left with the decision to help her or not. Hakuoro tries to dissuade her, but to no avail.
That’s Just What Mokkori Keita Wants!
After being unhappy being unranked Kaoru tells his Inukamis that Keita must choose new ranks for them. Kaoru’s Inukamis thus set out to try and win Keita’s affection doing anything they can to be ranked higher than the other. This is all hindered however by a magical pot that Keita tries to use to rank them if he gets what he wants. Karou’s Inukami’s then end up wanting to fight one another but are told by Sendan, and Nadeshiko that they should work together and abandon the order, the pot is later sent floating down the river.
“A Thief’s Identity” “Tōzoku no Shōtai” (盗賊の正体)
Worried that the princess may be blamed for Fouquet’s theft, Louise volunteers in front of the school administrators to go and catch her. Kirche and Tabitha volunteer as well. They travel to the place of Fouquet’s last sighting escorted by Longueville. Kirche, Tabitha, and Saito enter an empty, dusty house where Tabitha discovers the hiding place of the Staff of Destruction. Fouquet’s golem appears outside. Wanting to show her worth, Louise tries to fight the golem with some spells but fails. As she is about to be crushed, Saito rushes in to save her. Her confidence broken, Louise breaks into tears. Saito is moved by this and attacks the golem in her name as Sylphid rescues the nobles. He uses Kirche’s sword but when it breaks on contact with the golem Derflinger calls on Saito to use him. Saito draws Derflinger and the runes on his hands glow again. He is able to destroy the golem’s legs, but they reform shortly afterwards resulting in a stalemate. Louise tries to help by taking out the Staff of Destruction, which Saito recognizes as a M72 rocket launcher, and with his rune-enabled abilities, he fires it at the golem which is destroyed. In the aftermath Longueville claims the staff and reveals herself to have been Fouquet all along; she engineered the scenario to discover how to use the staff. She tries to kill the students who have found out her secret with the Staff but nothing happens, as it is a one-use item. Saito knocks Fouquet down and she surrenders. Later, Osmond reveals that 30 years previously, he was fighting a monster when a man (a soldier from Earth) used one of two “staves” to save his life. After the man died, Osmond buried the man and kept the other staff. The school holds a ball to celebrate the three heroines; Louise asks Saito to dance and thanks him for saving her.
“The Parting” “Ketsubetsu” (決別)
Derihouri, with the aide of Hakuoro and his party and a secret from Karura’s past, infiltrate the capital of Nan-tunk, only to discover that the Kenam rebellion was formed with ulterior motives.

“Tristein’s Princess” “Torisutein no Himegimi” (トリステインの姫君)
The exhibition of new familiars is a day away, and Louise is feeling rather depressed about it. Not only does Saito have nothing impressive to show (he says he’s good at washing panties), but this year the Princess of Tristain will be present, which makes the event more important. As night approaches, desperation sets in as Saito is unable to produce an act worthy of praise. A late night visitor to Louise’s room turns out to be Princess Henrietta herself, and she explains how she and Louise are childhood friends. The next day, Saito performs a weak sword swinging demonstration only to be dragged off-stage by Louise. They witness Fouquet attempting to break into the school’s treasure vault using an earth golem. Louise tries to stop her with her magic, but her blast misses the golem and hits the tower wall, breacing the magic barrier to the vault. Tabitha and her dragon familiar, Sylphid, fly in to help but are too late to prevent Fouquet from stealing the fabled Staff of Destruction and making her escape.
“Liberation Army” “Kaihōgun” (解放軍)
Karura’s younger brother Derihouri is leading a revolt in a neighboring country though his small army is no match for the force he is trying to oppose. It will take the aid of Hakuoro, Karura and the several others to overcome the emperor.
What Are These Things!
Both Kaoru and Karina are sucked into Sekidōsai’s painting, and it is up to Keita, Yōko, and Nadeshiko to save them.
“A Maid’s Crisis” “Meido no Kiki” (メイドの危機)
Osmond, the headmaster, continues his harassment of his secretary Longueville. Siesta is taken into the household of Count Mott, presumably to be mistress. Disgusted by the lack of regard that nobles have for commoners, Saito tries his best to rescue her. They make a deal where Count Mott asks for a particular family heirloom book from a Germanian family - coincidntally it is Kirche’s family. Saito asks Kirche for the book, but Kirche wants him to date her. After refusing her demand, Saito attempts to take on the noble with Kirche’s shiny sword, but he his runes do not activate. Louise and the others arrive just in time to prevent Saito from being killed by Count Mott. Kirche agrees to give Count Mott the book in exchange for Siesta’s freedom and forgiving Saito his offense. Saito catches a glimpse of the family treasure and is surprised to find that it is a rather old (April 1975) porn magazine from Japan. After they return to the academy, Siesta kisses Saito on the cheek in thanks for his efforts.
