Aisia is now enrolled to Kazami Academy. She keeps a close eye on Jun’ichi to “catch” him using magic, despite his insistence that he can only conjure Japanese confections. They accidentally got carried away in a garbage truck and into a dumpster. Jun’ichi helps protect Aisia, then they are rescued by Suginami, Kotori, and Mako. Aisia decides to train herself from now on since she is convinced that Jun’ichi not the type of wizard she had imagined. Mako insists them to take a bath at her house.

During the time when Rin and his classmates are cleaning their classroom, Nerine gets angry at a couple of guys insulting Rin and blows up the gym. Later, when a picnic is planned where everyone makes their own food to eat, Nerine must get help from Asa in order to learn how to cook.

“The Labyrinth and The Dragon” “Meikyū to Ryū” (迷宮と竜)

In Nanjing, Amalgam kidnaps peace delegations from Northern and Southern China and fortify themselves in an underground tunnel beneath the Yangtze River. Mithril attempts a rescue in the tunnel’s dangerous confines, but falls into Amalgam’s trap.

桜並木の向こうに Sakura namiki no mukō ni Past the Rows of Cherry Trees

Aisia has been settled into living at Jun’ichi’s house, and he mentions she will be going to Kazami Academy with him apparently. Convince that Jun’ichi studies at a school of magic, Aisia sneaks into the school and begins to cause chaos with her magic when she tries to make things more convenient for the campus. Jun’ichi overslept and arrives at school just in time to find Aisia.

Summer is almost here, but first the students must go through their final exams. While everyone is studying, Sia gets some help from Rin, even though it’s not much.

“The Situation Beneath the Surface” “Suimenka no Jōkei” (水面下の状景)

Sousuke and Kazama investigate who is posting embarrassing and revealing pictures of Kaname on the internet. Meanwhile, Amalgam operatives led by Gates extract payment from the Balic military force that took on Mithril and try to reconstruct what happened in the battle.

ひとつ屋根の下 Hitotsu yane no shita Beneath the Same Roof

After learning that Grandma Yoshino had long since pass away, and when Jun’ichi inadvertently showed his only magical skill because he is Yoshino’s grandchild, Aisia decides to make him her “Master”. When Mako discovers her, she insists on having Aisia stay at the Mizukoshi residence, until it becomes too difficult to have her around. Aisia then returns to Jun’ichi’s house to stay.

会いたくて! Aitakute! I Wanted to See You!

After a few days of adjusting to his new neighbors, Rin is starting to find it hard to cope with the recent changes in his life. Eventually, he starts to walk to and from school alone and one day while walking from school he meets a girl named Primula from the Realm of the Demons who is very attached to him, literally. When she comes home with him later, it is decided that she will live in Kaede’s house from now on.

“Ending Day by Day” “Owaru Hibi” (終わる日々)

Mithril and the SRT rescue refugees caught in a civil war in the African country of Balic. However, during the fighting, they discover that the enemy possesses advanced weaponry rivaling their own. They surmise that a highly funded, well-equipped organization may be supplying their enemies.

Jun’ichi and Kotori decide to skip school and help the girl, Aisia, find her destination on a rain-soaked map written in a foreign language. Jun’ichi tells Aisia the story how the island’s sakura trees used to bloom all year long 2 years ago. By the end of the day, they figure out the person that Aisia is looking for is Grandma Yoshino so she can study magic to be an excellent wizard.

Rin is enjoying a rather normal life living with his childhood friend Kaede due to family deaths on both sides. One day at school, two new classmates transfer into his class: Lisianthus, heiress to the Realm of the Gods, and Nerine, heiress to the Realm of the Demons. Rin is told that he has been picked to marry either one, though it will be his choice as to whom.

あれから2年… Are kara ninen… Two Years Since Then…

Jun’ichi, with the help of his group of friends (the self-appointed “Support Team”), manages his daily life in Nemu’s absence for two years. Miharu wakes him up in the morning. Suginami and Kanae Kudō always accompany him in class. Kotori cooks for him as well out of kindness. She takes a bath much to Jun’ichi’s embarrassment. On a stormy summer day, a mysterious young girl arrives at his door.

“Lunar World” “Gessekai” (月世界)

Shiki attempts to find Arcueid, but is confronted by Ciel. Ciel agrees to help Shiki find Arcueid after seeing his determination, and the two come upon Roa fighting Arcueid at the school. Despite Arcueid’s efforts, she is killed by Roa, and an enraged Shiki begins to fight with Roa. Although initially outmatched, a distraction by Ciel enables Shiki to destroy the entire walkway the two are situated on and get behind Roa, destroying him in the process. Ciel disappears, with no person in the school besides Shiki having any memory of her. Shiki then goes to the same tree he visited as a youth and thanks the same sorceress he saw, Aoko Aozaki. While waiting for Arcueid after school, Shiki sees her, and she thanks him for fulfilling his promise before disappearing.

“Misfortunate Night” “Magatsu Yoru” (凶つ夜)

Arcueid flees, and Ciel explains that Arcueid was the White Princess of the True Ancestors until Roa offered her a rose with blood that caused her to undergo a cycle where she would awaken for brief periods to kill Roa and then go to sleep once more. Shiki goes to follow Arcueid but comes upon Roa and Akiha. Roa begins to overwhelm the two until Ciel arrives, but she is dispatched. Roa retreats and Ciel regenerates her wound. At home, Shiki finds that he was adopted, and that he swapped places with the actual Shiki Tohno after he went berserk. Shiki then goes to Arcueid, and makes love to her in her apartment. When he awakens, he finds a note with the words “Bye, Bye” on them.

“Crimson Red Moon” “Ake no Kōgetsu” (朱の紅月)

As Shiki lays in bed, Arcueid visits him and asks him to take her on a date. After vising several locales, she then asks Shiki to take her to his school. In a classroom, Arcueid expresses her fear that should she go to sleep again, she will awaken and Shiki will be gone. Shiki then makes a promise with her that after the events are over, he will go on another date with her. Afterwards, they visit the tea room, and Shiki inquires about Ciel. Arcueid reveals that Ciel used to be Roa’s incarnation. The two are then attacked by Roa’s minions, but after Arcueid dispatches them, Shiki collapses. The sight of his blood awakens Arcueid’s vampire nature, and she is separated from Shiki by a sword sent by Ciel.

“Death” “Shi” (死)

Shiki, in pain due to his wound, is watched by Akiha through the night. The following day, Kohaku reveals that the Tohno family carries inhuman characteristics, and the one with those characteristics designated the head of the family. With Akiha absent, Hisui allows Shiki into Akiha’s study, where he finds a key. Trying doors throughout the house, he manages to open one that leads to a dungeon cell with “Help Me” scrawled on the walls in blood. Running outside, he recalls how there was another boy in his childhood also named Shiki and how he had killed him. Akiha, furious at him discovering this knowledge, reprimands Hisui and Kohaku.

“Origami” “Origami” (檻髪)

When Shiki returns home, Akiha collapses shortly after a conversation with him. Kohaku claims she will be fine, and Shiki stays with her through the night. The next day, he is strangely asked by Ciel to allow things to stay normal longer. At home, he sees Akiha taking blood from Kohaku’s breast. Arcueid later reveals that Roa reincarnates in the bodies of families with inhuman characteristics, leading Shiki to believe that Akiha is Roa. Later that evening, Shiki follows Akiha, watching her hair turn red. Shiki then goes with Arcueid, but after leaving her, he is attacked by a man who can see the same lines as him, and Shiki is cut across the chest. After Ciel forces the man to retreat, Shiki collapses.

“Blue Sin Mark” “Aoi Toga Ato” (蒼い咎跡)

Akiha agrees to go with Shiki and his friends to an amusement park, and they are joined by Arcueid whom they meet on the way. The group enjoys the rides, although Shiki is exhausted in the process. As the group squabbles over where to go next, Yumizuka manages to break the animosity between Ahika, Arcueid, and Ciel, and the group ends up going to an onsen. Once there, Yumizuka divulges her envy of Arcueid’s beauty, but Arcueid replies that she cannot have a significant relationship with Shiki because she is not human. Meanwhile, Akiha and Ciel converse, with Ciel revealing that she believes Akiha is not human, causing Akiha to storm off.

“5th Period Hot Spot” “Go Jikan Me no Hotto Supotto” (五時間目のホット·スポット)

A classmate accidentally opens Sousuke’s biohazardous container, causing a classroom quarantine. Sousuke later learns that the contents were not pathogenic, but destroys synthetic clothing instead. Relieved that there is no outbreak, he now fears the repercussions from his angry classmates.

“White Dream” “Shiroi Yume” (白い夢)

Shiki overhears at school that three students went missing the previous night while they were in the city. When he returns home, Akiha has tea with him after dinner, and allows him to have a television, even though she normally dislikes noisy objects. Shiki manages to leave home and meet with Arcueid, who reveals she had been working to get money. They then notice the three supposedly missing students, whom Arcueid identifies as being under Roa’s control. Arcueid dispatches two, and Shiki manages to defeat the third. Afterwards, Shiki takes Arcueid through the city, and promises to go on a date with her later.
