“Original Visual Animation” “Orijinaru na Bijuaru to Animēshon” (オリジナルなビジュアルとアニメーション)

The story is split up into several chapters.

The Beginning and End of Cherry’s Day (チェリーちゃんの一日のはじまりとおわり Cherī-chan no Ichihibi no Hajimari to Owari?)- Minami’s pet dog, Cherry, is paid a visit by the other characters. While Minami tells her to behave, Cherry shows reluctance to participate. At the end of the day, Minami is concerned that she’s not eating any food.

While Taisuke is dreaming of receiving his first Valentine’s Day chocolate ever, a number of girls is more than eager to give their chocolate to Makoto. These gifts come in all shapes and sizes, and of course each of these girls wants to be the only one to achieve her goal…

Let`s Walk Forward! Shungo races to find Mayu before she runs out of energy, but must deal with Reika’s inner personality, who orders Hosaka to fight him. Reika’s original personality comes to terms with her inner self, and takes her body back, however, she cannot cancel the orders. She restores some life to Shungo, but when Shungo delivers a knockdown blow to Hosaka, Mayu interferes and gets hit by Hosaka’s punch. Shungo wants to kiss the collapsed Mayu but when Reika rushes forth, she trips and kisses her, restoring her life. With everything back to normal, Irori and Tasuku remark that Shungo has more challenges ahead.

Don`t Run Away! Reika’s inner self has taken over, using her corporate muscle to capture Shungo. She takes him to their childhood home to have him remember his past and the promise for them to be together. When Reika drugs and later tries to mount him, her forces are attacked by Ryoko, Mikihiro and a returning Shinobu. Irori and Tasuku free Shungo. Realizing that Mayu may die without energy, he goes after her.

Let`s Go Have Fun! Following Irori’s kiss, Shungo feels lethargic, but is pressured to go with Irori until Mayu steals Shungo away and takes Reika along. The three spend the last day in Kyoto having fun together, like they did back when they were children. Tasuku tries to break them up by using his family’s ninja clan to attack them. Tasuku and Shungo fight, but Irori stops them and tells Tasuku that she only loves him. Later, Shungo is surprised to see Ryoko and Mikihiro in the news; he is then arrested, while Mayu has disappeared.

Snatch Him! The class is at Kyoto on a field trip. Some of the boys try to climb the cliffside to peep at the girls baths. They later try to sneak into the girl’s room but are hunted down by the various faculty members. After being taunted by Tasuku, Shungo tries to force his way in to see Mayu, only to be intercepted by Irori.

Let Me Eat It! Ryōko orders Shungo to make some ramen for her. He and Mayu spend hours trying to create the perfect ramen, only to realize that Ryōko will settle for a simple cup ramen.

Cheer Up! Shungo falls ill after “losing his fighting spirit” and Mayu tries to nurse him back to health, with disastrous results.

Remember! Shungo, Mayu and Reika are captured by soldiers. Hosaka frees them, but as they try to escape, he is shot. Shungo grabs the two girls and sends them to hide. When he returns to fight the troops, he is knocked out by a mysterious woman in a Tiki mask. Reika exploits Mayu’s clumsiness to trigger the various traps in the forest, spreading chaos among the enemy. She reaches Shungo and frees him, which allows him to confront the masked woman again.

Let`s Go to the Beach The gang go to a remote island beach for a “vacation”, where Mayu starts getting closer to Shungo as Reika tries to upstage her. After witnessing Shungo invite Mayu to watch the stars together, Reika wanders off in a depression. Shungo finds her, but she changes her personality to a more aggressive girl who is also a succubus. A mysterious group of soldiers capture the two as well as Mayu.

Let`s Take Care of the House While Shungo is taken away for extra fight training, Mayu attempts to help Reika with the housework, only to make more messes. When she finds a hidden passage, she and Reika explore it, but get lost and trigger a bunch of traps. They finally get out, but Ryōko punishes them for slacking off.

Let`s Go to Town Classmate Hinako Ayakawa takes Mayu out to get to know her better, while Reika attempts to get rid of Mayu by exploiting her fear of men. After being distracted by a classmate, Shungo tries to find Mayu, only to get caught in Reika’s man traps.

I`m Gonna Push You! Reika, the student council president and heiress to the Houjou foundation, greets Shungo, but becomes furious when Mayu unknowingly calls her a rich loser girl. After checking with Shungo and Mayu’s siblings, she challenges Mayu to a series of contests. Although Mayu easily wins the first two rounds, Reika asks for them to be nullfied for the last round where she alone has to seduce Shungo. However, she fails to do so, and ends up becoming their live-in maid.

“I’m Going to Kiss You!”

Shungo meets Mayu at his school, and learns that she has an uncanny ability to attract men. After rescuing her from their classmates, he learns that she is a succubus who has yet to control her powers; she and her brother will be living at Shungo’s house so she can train to interact with men. Not only that, but Shungo and Mayu must sleep in the same bed.

“To Be Announced” “Mitei” (未定)

Konata and her friends prepare for the school’s cultural festival. Patricia decides to have the girls do a cheerleading session set to the show’s theme song, which hassles the girls between preparations for their class’ cultural displays and preparations for the routine. At first, Patricia has a hard time trying to convince her friends, but then she bribes Konata with a ticket to an Aya Hirano event, where people could shake hands with her. Konata gets her friends to help out, and even though Kagami is initially against it, she becomes the most enthusiastic of the bunch to do the routine. Akira Kogami has been invited to the school as a special guest, but she and Minoru still despise each other. At the end of the day, Konata, Tsukasa, Kagami, Miyuki, Ayano, and Misao reflect on their last cultural festival. The next day, at the opening of the festival, the girls get ready emotionally for the dance, and as the curtain rises, the screen fades to white.

“Delicate Line” “Bimyō na Rain” (微妙なライン)

Konata and Yutaka get sick at the same time, but while Yutaka can only rest in bed, Konata plays video games and is mainly using her sickness as an excuse to get out of class. When Minami, Patricia, and Hiyori come to visit Yutaka, Yui reveals that Yutaka has been talking about Minami a lot, but Yui reveals nothing about Yutaka saying anything about either Patricia or Hiyori. After Miyuki hears about gum that will help prevent cavities, she tries a piece, but inadvertently causes an old cavity filling to fall out, resulting her in having to go back to dentist’s office. Later, Minami gets embarrassed when Miyuki recounts how Konata and her friends compliment her, and then further embarrassed when Miyuki’s mother tells of a recent time when she saw Minami at the grocery store.

“The Yonder Here” “Koko ni Aru Kanata” (ここにある彼方)

Konata’s late mother, Kanata, appears as a spirit. As she looks over her family in the room, both Konata and Sōjirō discuss what her life was like, while she was still alive. Although Sōjirō rushed Kanata into love and marriage, Sōjirō was confident that he loved Kanata the most and that she loved him back. A long flashback scene then takes place, where Kanata thinks back on all the happy times she shared with Sōjirō, and concludes that she did love him deeply as well (although she is disturbed about him exposing Konata to eroge). As Konata and Sōjirō prepare to take a picture, Kanata joins in with them, but appears as a shadow in the actual picture. Konata and Sōjirō review the picture and are highly shocked and disturbed at the shadow, and fear that they are cursed.

“Pandora’s Box” “Pandora no Hako” (パンドラの箱)

The third-years go on a trip to Kyoto. Tsukasa feeds deer, however, she eventually gets trampled by them. Kagami receives a letter from a boy asking her to come out at night; she thinks it is a love letter, thus thinks about it all day, not even saying stuff against Konata’s childish jokes. However, it turns out that the boy called Kagami in order to get a doll that he was too embarrassed to buy. The next day, Konata leads the girls on a side trip to the offices of Kyoto Animation.

“Ways to Spend Summer” “Natsu no Sugoshikata” (夏の過ごし方)

Kagami and Konata talk about collectible figures, the negative portrayal of Akihabara in the media and the relationships between otaku. Konata is reluctant to do any homework and is caught playing games and reading manga, instead of working several times by Yui. Konata, Miyuki, Tsukasa and Kagami get together to study during the summer and decide to go to a fireworks festival near Miyuki’s house. Yutaka, Minami, Hiyori and Patricia decide to go to the same festival and discover that Minami and Miyuki live across the street from each other.

“There is Substance in 2-D” “Niji ni Honshitsu Ari” (二次に本質あり)

Konata and her father have a discussion on how well the Gundam franchise has done, and how the series is still very popular, despite its age. Konata’s father recounts when he watched them when some of the older series first came out. At school, Nanako gets depressed, after seeing her students go to Miyuki for help, instead of herself. After finding out that Hiyori draws dōjinshi, Yutaka asks her what kind, but Hiyori keeps it vague, finding it hard to tell her the truth. While Yutaka, Minami, and Hiyori are out together, Hiyori spots two people cosplaying as Roy Mustang and Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist, though only Hiyori notices this as she spans photos on her cell phone.
