“The Famous Shooter” “Meishashu” (名射手)

Summer vacation begins, and Konata, the Hiiragi twins and Miyuki go to a summer festival, dressed in yukata. Yui Narumi, Konata’s cousin, is introduced, currently on patrol at the festival. Konata and Nanako chat over an MMORPG, and later, Konata and the twins meet to do homework together. Back at her house, Konata finds a rare item drop on the game and celebrates it with her online friends.

School in the Crosshairs

Newly enrolled Sun makes quite a splash among her classmates on the first day of school, but Nagasumi is more concerned with some of the new teachers - Sun’s dad and his goons!

“A Question of Motivation” “Yaruki no Mondai” (やる気の問題)

Summer vacation is almost here, and Konata is still staying up late playing online video games, reading manga, and watching anime, instead of studying. It is revealed that her homeroom teacher, Nanako Kuroi, plays the same game as Konata. Kagami and Tsukasa’s birthday is around the corner, and Konata and Miyuki celebrate with them. Konata reveals to the sisters how she came to like manga and anime.

It`s Tough Being a Man

Sun and Nagasumi leave Maki behind and venture out to take in the sights and sounds of the city. When Nagasumi has to confront a couple of bullies, they may wish the tiny terror was still around!

“Various People” “Iroiro na Hitotachi” (いろいろな人たち)

The girls discuss various facts and myths about twins, and how, according to changes in classification, Kagami and Tsukasa might be identical, instead of fraternal. Then, Konata, Tsukasa and Miyuki compare notes on marriage. Later, when Konata, Tsukasa, and Kagami are hanging out together, they each pull their hair into a ponytail to see how it would look.

The Island Closest to Heaven

Nagasumi has to tell Sun that it’s time for him to return home. While he tries to find the right moment, Sun’s tiny bodyguard, Maki the Conch, looks for her own perfect moment - to assassinate Nagasumi!

“Efforts and Results” “Doryoku to Kekka” (努力と結果)

Throughout Golden Week, Kagami and Tsukasa have been playing together, however, Tsukasa does not know her sister has actually been waking up earlier and going to bed later, in order to study and finish homework. After the break, Konata pulls an all-nighter and manages to obtain an above-average score, despite doing no studying during the short vacation. To fund her otaku desires, Konata decides to get a part-time job, with the position greatly surprising her friends and it suits her perfectly.

The Lord of the Ring

Nagasumi escorts Sun to a festival so they can get better acquainted before their big day. They better skip the small talk - if Sun’s dad has his way, Nagasumi won’t live long enough to ask for a second date!

“The Girl who Dashes Off” “Tsuppashiru Onna” (つっぱしる女)

The four main characters are introduced, going about everyday life, as they attend their second year at Ryōō High School. The first discussion of chocolate cornet begins. One of Konata’s friends, Kagami Hiiragi, is sick, and her friends come over to see how she is doing.

The Yakuza Wife

After a pretty mermaid named Sun (who happens to be the daughter of a merman yakuza) saves him from drowning, Nagasumi has to make a choice: marry Sun or sleep with the fishes!

せめて哀しみとともに Semete Kanashimi to Tomo ni At Least with Sorrow

After locating Euphemia, Lelouch shoots and mortally wounds her. Suzaku witnesses the shooting and brings Euphemia to the Avalon for emergency treatment. Euphemia fights off the Geass and has a last talk with Suzaku before dying; while Suzaku mourns over her death, V.V. introduces himself and explains why Euphemia caused the massacre. Meanwhile, Zero announces his plan to overthrow Brittania and to create a new country called the United States of Japan. Soon, the entirety of Area 11 revolts against the Britannian Empire and the Black Knights advance towards the Tokyo Settlement.

血染めのユフィ Chizome no Yufi Bloodstained Euphy

During the commemoration ceremony for the SAZOJ, Lelouch and Euphemia privately discuss Japan’s future. She convinces him and Lelouch summarily halts his rebellion until he suddenly loses control of his Geass while jokingly telling her to kill all the Japanese. The Geass-influenced Euphemia orders a massacre of the people attending the ceremony. Blaming himself, a resolute Lelouch decides to salvage the situation by declaring Euphemia’s SAZOJ a trap to lure out the Black Knights and commands his troops to defeat the Britannian forces, protect the Japanese, and to kill Euphemia.

学園祭宣言! Gakuen-sai Sengen! The School Festival Declaration

The Ashford Academy holds their annual school festival. Ohgi, Villeta, Euphemia, and Kallen all make their separate ways to the event and a series of close encounters risks the revealing of their hidden identities. When Euphemia’s presence is revealed, mass panic ensues. On live television, she announces her plan to turn the area around Mount Fuji to become a Specially Administrated Zone of Japan (SAZOJ), where Elevens can be referred to as Japanese again. She believes this will bring back the happy days with Lelouch and Nunnally, but Lelouch thinks otherwise, knowing she is being naive.

“Canon at the End of the Dream” “Yume no Hate no Tsuifukukyoku kanon” (夢の果ての追復曲 〜kanon〜)

A miracle occurs and everyone is healed of their illness or injury. Mai, Sayuri and Shiori return to school, while Akiko comes home. In a startling discovery, Akiko reveals to Yuichi on the events after Ayu’s accident and Yuichi finally finds her, lying comatose in the hospital. As time goes on, everyone moves on with their lives, but Yuichi still clings to the hope that she will eventually wake up. However, he is still missing a final piece of his puzzle, before Ayu can truly end living in a dream. In the end, Ayu wakes up and is still together with Yuichi. Just before the closing credits, a familiar fox can be seen walking just beyond the stump, slightly blurred into the background.

キュウシュウ戦役 Kyūshū Sen’eki Battle at Kyushu

The Britannian Army fights back against the Kyūshū invaders with the Lancelot. Meanwhile, Nina meets Princess Euphemia and inadvertently gives Euphemia peace of mind about her feelings for Suzaku. As Suzaku becomes cornered when his Lancelot’s power runs out, Zero and C.C. fly into the battlefield in the Gawain to recharge the Lancelot; the two Knightmares end the Kyūshū campaign together.

“The Scarlet Red Finale” “Akane-iro no Shūkyoku finale” (茜色の終曲 〜finale〜)

Waking up in an apartment, Yuichi meets an old acquaintance who he admired as a child named Makoto Sawatari. Back at their promised place, Yuichi sees Ayu again, and she asks for her third and final wish to be for Yuichi to forget about her, but Yuichi is unwilling to grant it. Ayu then makes a different wish, and disappears soon after in Yuichi’s arms. Nayuki comes out of her depression, and she attempts to get her cousin out of his own.

神の島 Kami no Shima Island of the Gods

The aftermath of the Avalon’s arrival inexplicably leaves Lelouch, Euphemia, Kallen, and Suzaku on the mysterious Kamine Island. Suzaku encounters Kallen, and learns she is a Black Knight and the pilot of the Guren, while Euphemia is found by Zero, confirming her suspicions that he is Lelouch. Meanwhile, Schneizel, Lloyd, and Cécile Croomy survey the island’s ancient ruins. When Lelouch, Kallen, Suzaku, and Euphemia suddenly fall into the ruins, Lelouch and Kallen steals the Knightmare Frame Gawain to escape. As Suzaku is detained for insubordination, it is revealed that Lelouch used Geass on Suzaku, giving him the command to live, through which he prioritized his own survival over Zero’s capture. Elsewhere, the exiled Japanese government from seven years ago launches a full-scale assault on Kyūshū with the help of the Chinese Federation.

“Symphony of Recollections” “Tsuisō no Kōkyōgaku symphony” (追想の交響楽 〜symphony〜)

As Akiko lies in the intensive care unit, Nayuki becomes deeply depressed. Locking herself in her bedroom, she refuses to leave. When she accidentally leaves her door unlocked, Yuichi uses the opportunity to talk with her, but she simply pushes him away. As Yuichi attempts to sleep it off, he dreams and remembers what happened to Ayu seven years ago. He leaves during a snow storm and heads for the woods, but soon collapses, and Makoto appears. When she kneels down to Yuichi’s unconscious body, a bright light suddenly shines at them.

枢木スザクに命じる Kururugi Suzaku ni Meijiru I Order you, Suzaku Kururugi

As Euphemia knights Suzaku, Lelouch establishes the hierarchy of the Black Knights. Diethard Reid suggests assassinating Suzaku, but Lelouch has other plans for him. He launches an operation to capture Suzaku and the Lancelot at a Britannia military base on Shikinejima. It almost succeeds, but Schneizel el Britannia appears and orders his floating battleship, the Avalon, to bombard the island, intending to sacrifice Suzaku in order to kill Zero.

“The Rondo Without You” “Kimi no Inai Rinbukyoku ronde” (君のいない輪舞曲 〜ronde〜)

Ayu still has not come back, and Yuichi continues to search for her and her lost item. In the meantime, Nayuki tries to cheer Yuichi up while trying to jog his memory about what happened between them seven years ago. However, Akiko becomes the victim of a car accident, which could lead to devastating results.
