“Behemoth Awakening” “Behemosu Kakusei” (ベヘモス覚醒)

The hostage exchange goes awry, and instead Tessa and Kaname are taken to the terrorists’ hide-out inside a tanker. Sousuke regroups with Kurz and Melissa to rescue their friends. During the rescue attempt, Takuma activates the massive Behemoth AS.

“Run, Running, Ran” “Ran Ranningu Ran” (ラン·ランニング·ラン)

Kaname visits Sousuke’s apartment, becoming involved with Mithril’s situation. They realize that the apartment is no longer safe, taking Takuma to the Jindai High campus for safekeeping. However, the terrorists locate him and capture Tessa and Kaname. Sousuke is forced to give up Takuma for the two girls.

“Dangerous Safe House” “Abunai Sēfu Hausu” (あぶないセーフハウス)

Tessa is sent to see Takuma Kugayama, a young boy captured at Narita whom Mithril suspects of being capable of operating the Lambda Driver. However, the A21 terrorist group attacks the compound to free their comrade, but Tessa flees with him to Sousuke’s safe house.

“Keitaro” “Keitarō” (景太郎)

After returning from overseas with Seta,Keitaro brings gifts for all the Hinata residents. After seeing Kanako,Keitaro thinks she’s a new resident, but then recognizes her as the little girl who followed him. Kanako plans to get her and Keitaro alone, sending the dorm residents on “errands” that turn out to be fake. Tension rises a lot between Kanako and Naru. Keitaro asks Naru to meet him at the abandoned annex. Since the legend of the annex says if a couple stays there over night, they’ll live happily ever after. Naru, once again trying to help Kanako and Keitaro sends Kanako to the annex, but regrets it after Haruka explained the legend, and how powerful its magic was. Of course Keitaro still doesn’t remember he promised Kanako they’d go to the annex as children! In the dark he grabbed Kanako thinking she was Naru,and Kanako thinking he really loved her. When Keitaro realizes its Kanako, Naru arrives. It was too late!The magic forms a field around Kanako and Keitaro. Kanako still thinking Keitaro loves her says the ring he dropped was proof. Keitaro then says his gift for Naru. Naru tries to put the ring on,but it flies out of her hands.

“Part Time Steady” “Pātotaimu Sutedi” (パートタイム·ステディ)

When Mizuki Inaba’s boyfriend, Shirai, asks Kaname out, a jealous Mizuki spreads vicious lies about her around the school. However, Mizuki’s actions causes her boyfriend to dump her for being overbearing. Mizuki is then forced to ask Sousuke to be her boyfriend when she meets with her friends.

“Boy Meets Girl” “Bōi Mītsu Gāru” (ボーイ·ミーツ·ガール)

During his battle with Gauron, Sousuke struggles with the Arbalest’s Lambda Driver. While watching the fight, Kaname begins to learn of her Whispered abilities, instructing Sousuke how to precisely operate the machine. With Kaname’s help, Sousuke manages to defeat Gauron and the Tuatha De Danaan rescues him and Kaname.

“Still Alive” “STILL ALIVE”

Sousuke and Kaname seek refuge in the woods, where they find Kurz who was wounded after Gauron destroyed his AS. As the enemy closes in, the three attempt to communicate with Mithril. Under fire, help arrives just in time when Mithril sends Sousuke’s new AS, the Arbalest.

“Whispered” “Sasayakareshi Mono (Wisupādo)” (囁かれし者(ウィスパード))

Sousuke saves Kaname and commandeers an Arm Slave (AS) while Mithril launches a rescue operation. When Sousuke confronts Gauron, Melissa and Kurz arrive to provide back-up so he and Kaname can escape with the other students; however, they miss the rescue planes and are left behind.

“Kidnap” “Kiddo Nappu” (キッド·ナップ)

Kaname and Sousuke’s class go on a field trip to Okinawa, but Gauron, a terrorist operative, hijacks their plane and diverts it to a base near Lake Khanka in the USSR. The terrorists kidnap Kaname and subject her to scientific testing. Unable to bear the thought of her potential fate, Sousuke infiltrates the base and attempts to rescue Kaname.

“Kanako” “Kanako” (可奈子)

After deciding to take the semester off from Tokyo U,Keitaro goes to America with Seta to explore different archaeology sites. Kanako, Keitaro’s step sister, comes to the Hinata apartments and appoints herself as the new landlord in Keitaro’s absence, much to the annoyance of all the residents. Kanako makes many new rules,one which the residents try to break in order to find her weakness. What they didn’t know was that it had to do with a certain promise Keitaro made with his “little sister.” Although,Naru remembering her sister tries to help and defend Kanako,not knowing she plans to drive her out. At the end of the episode, Keitaro returns with Seta.

“Lingerie Panic” “Ranjerī Panikku” (ランジェリー·パニック)

The SRT springs into action when an intruder is seen sneaking into Kaname’s apartment. Meanwhile, the Tuatha de Danaan, Mithril’s most advanced submarine commanded by Teletha “Tessa” Testarossa, launches a missile strike on a Whispered research facility in the USSR.

“I Want to Protect You” “Mamotte Agetai” (守ってあげたい)

Sousuke’s military background prevents him from adjusting to school life, overreacting to seemingly harmless situations. Kaname believes that he is a military otaku and is irritated that he constantly follows her wherever she goes.

“The Guy I Kinda Like is a Sergeant” “Ki ni Naru Aitsu wa Gunsō” (気になるあいつは軍曹)

Three members of Mithril’s Special Response Team (Sousuke Sagara, Kurz Weber, and Melissa Mao) are assigned to protect Kaname Chidori from terrorist organizations. Because of Sousuke’s age and Japanese heritage, he enrolls at Kaname’s school, Jindai High, as an undercover student. However, because of his speech and actions, he comes across as “weird” to Chidori, though she admits he is “interesting” in a phone call.

“Love Hina Spring Special - I wish Your Dream” “Rabu Hina Haru Supesharu ~ Kimi Sakurachiru nakare!! ~” (ラブひな 春スペシャル 〜キミサクラチルナカレ!!〜)

The Toudai entrance exams have finally come (again) for Keitarou. With all his confidence he takes the test, but ends up falling asleep and dreaming about Narusegawa. Waking up with barely any time to complete the test, Keitarou thinks he will fail and tries to escape from Hinata Inn and forget all the memories with it. By a stroke of luck he meets Seta, but ends up on a faraway island with the whole cast looking for him.

“Love Hina Christmas Special - Silent Eve” “Rabu Hina Kurisumasu Supesharu ~ Sairento Ibu ~” (ラブひな クリスマススペシャル〜サイレント·イヴ〜)

As another round of preliminary tests approach for Keitarou, so does Christmas. And as the first Christmas of the millennium, there is a rumour that if one confesses his love on this special eve it will come true. Keitarou has decided what he needs to do on this Christmas Eve, but being a retaker can he afford taking attention away from the tests on the same day? On top of that he is not the only one confessing on this Christmas Eve…

“Motoko’s Choice, Love or the Sword: Don’t Cry” “Motoko no Sentaku, Koi ka Ken… Naku na” (素子のセンタク、恋か剣… 泣くな)

Out of nowhere, Motoko’s sister appears and is ready to pass on the dojo. However, Motoko is still not quite as strong as her sister and when her sister finds out about this, she gives Motoko an ultimatum: Motoko must beat her sister or marry Keitaro!

“Celebrate! Are the Blooming Flowers Tokyo U? Love? Everybody” “Shuku! Sakura saku no wa Tōdai? Koi? Minna” (祝!サクラサクのは東大?恋? みんな)

Everyone has to leave Hinata House for a day because the inn is undergoing repairs and renovations. It also becomes apparent that Keitaro won’t be coming back to Hinata Inn and Naru has completely given up on Keitaro. Who will Keitaro decide to be his soulmate, Naru or Mutsumi?

“Naru Narusegawa - Her Wavering Heart and Keitaro: Crushed” “Narusegawa Naru, Yureru onnagokoro to Keitarō Konagona” (成瀬川なる、揺れる女心と景太郎 こなごな)

Naru now wonders what she should do with her newfound knowledge and it seems like Keitaro is going to be returning home since his grandma has returned to reclaim the inn. To add more to the mess, it doesn’t look like Keitaro’s studies are going to be enough to help him into Tokyo University.

“Little Sister Mei’s Devious Plan: It Can’t Be!” “Imōto Mei no takurami, Misshitsu Daisakusen Sonna” (妹メイのたくらみ、密室大作戦 そんな)

Mei is Naru’s stepsister and hopes to take Naru back home. To accomplish this, she decides she has to hook Keitaro up with Mutsumi and it is in this episode that Naru finds out something shocking.

“Jealous Outburst? Two Lovebirds on a Boat: Tremble” “Shitto Bakuhatsu!? Bōto ueno oatsui futari Wanawana” (嫉妬爆発!?ボート上のお熱い二人 わなわな)

Naru and Keitaro decide to go out to celebrate the latest grades and while both are wondering whether it’s a date or not, a mysterious little girl appears.
